Course Information......

The MHM Australasia Pty Ltd RCG Course is a workshop-style course, fully accredited and recognised by the Casino Liquor & Gaming Control Authority and ASQA, that is mandatory for anyone working in and around gaming venues in NSW.

All club secretaries and hoteliers, as well as staff involved in gaming related functions on licenced premises are to complete an approved Responsible Conduct of Gambling course before commencing employment.

Social responsibility is essential to minimise the harm associated with problem gambling and to foster venues where responsible conduct of gambling is not o­nly employed but also accepted as best practice.

The NSW Government's harm minimisation approach to addressing liquor misuse and abuse has now been adapted for gambling abuses. This course aims to provide easy access to information including: the law, responsible and ethical promotion of gambling, and strategies designed to ensure that gambling is conducted responsibly and that prevention strategies are in place to inform and educate gambling patrons at risk.

The benefits of adopting a responsible attitude to the conduct of gambling include: an ethical environment in which to socialise and work a change in focus from the promotion of gambling to the promotion of quality service facilitiesa reduction in the social problems associated with gambling abuse.

The course includes a comprehensive workbook and a ASQA accredited certificate.

2 certificates are issued upon successful completion of a short theory quiz that reflects the learning outcomes of the course. Approved and qualified trainers use the most up-to-date visual and training aids in this highly informative and entertaining session.

RSA, RCG and Bar Skills courses are conducted every week in all areas.Cocktail is available in Broadway and Wollongong only.
